The rooftops of Chelsea. This shot was taken from the High Line conservation on the west side of Manhattan. I love how colorful the skyline is throughout Chelsea, and the contrast between the old and new arhcitecture makes for a great photo.

A closer view of the Water Tank on the corner of Flushing Ave and Bedford Ave. As you make your way towards Williamsburg down Bedford Ave, these water tanks appear more frequently throughout the Broolyn skyline.

If you have visited Eastern Parkway you will know that it is charecterized by rows of enourmous trees that line the sidewalk. Unfortunately, by Sunday morning many of these trees had succumbed to Hurricane Irene and were strewn in bits all over benches, trash cans and parked cars.
